Amy Lou Adams is the full name of Amy Lou Adams. Amy Lou Adams was born in Aviano, Italy on the 20th of August 1974. Amy Lou Adams is an American actress whom has received praise for her performance of sweet and innocent characters. Adams was raised in Italy while her father served with the U.S. military and she grew up living in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven children. She began dancing and acting professionally around the middle of the 1990s, with Boulder Dinner Theatre, and after that, at the Country Dinner Playhouse. Then she moved to Minnesota and was made a part of Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentary film that explored beauty contests. The actress moved to Los Angeles after making her debut as the snarky but good-natured contestant. She was the wife of actor Tony Curtis from June 1951 to September 1962 and her mother to Kelly Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh started her career in film following the signing of an MGM deal in the middle of 1940s. She was discovered through actress Norma Shearer. The actress portrayed Norma in a few popular movies through time, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho from 1960 and Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film that was released in the year 1954.
