Annette Funicello did not only sing or act, but was also an actor. Her most famous role was as one of Mickey Mouse Club's "Mouseketeers". As a teenager Annette started singing and was famous for the songs 'Tall Paul and Pineapple Princess'. Annette was born in Utica to Italian parents. As a child she was prone to anxiety. Since she wanted to pursue success in her career as an entertainer she began performing and performing. Being a "Mouseketeer" in 'Disney sketches, Annette gained a lot of fame during the 1950s. Annette's "Disney" persona was discarded as an adult when she started playing roles for adults. As one of first actors, she was credited as the first to introduce the "beach" type of entertainment. She was in films like "Pajama Parties", 'How to Stuff a Wild Bikini", and "Beach Party'. Her albums with music came out from time to again.
