Alice Braga

Alice Braga has worked in several Brazilian as well as American TV and films. Her family is full of actors, and so it's only fitting that she entered the business as a child. In 2002, she received praise by the audience for her performance in "City of God,' a Brazilian crime film. She was the recipient of several awards internationally for her performance in the Brazilian drama film 'Lower City' (2005). Braga starred in her role in the English production Journey to the End of the Night (2006). The film earned her international acclaim for working opposite Will Smith in the American post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller 'I Am Legend' (2007). Since then, she's been in several Hollywood film, including "Repo Men" (2010) and 'Predators' (2010), 'The Rite' (2011) and 'Elysium' (2013). The actress currently portrays the principal role of Teresa Mendoza in the American criminal-drama show 'Queens of South'.
